A family story
Here, hospitality grows from a real memory.
Our grandparents bought the trullo, together with the land around it, in the early 1900s, when they chose to move to what was then Masseria Nova — the original name of San Michele Salentino. Our family lived here until the 1950s, before moving to the village that was growing nearby.
The trullo was never abandoned: it became the place to rest after long days in the fields and to gather all together, around the wide courtyard paved with chianche stones and the wood-fired oven that baked bread, frise and focaccia of every kind. Today, thanks to Maria's passion and care, you can still live and breathe the flavours and values that have animated it for over a century.
